2002 Pontiac Sunfire Power Window Switch

As my passenger side power window stopped working properly and I'm afraid it will get stuck in the down position if I hit the switch by accident (until it gets repaired) would it hurt anything if I propped the power window switch in the closed position so there's no chance I'll open it by mistake and then can't close it?
