How do I get access to the blower motor (I think that's what it's called) of my 2002 Pontiac Sunfire? It's making this strange noise, almost like a card stuck in a bicycle wheel, and someone told me it could be a leaf. The heat AND air both work fine, I just need to figure out the cause of the noise. If it's only a leaf, I want to get it out. Thanks for any help!

The blower motor is located under the dash on the passengerside. It is held in place by 3 screws. Disconnect the electrical harness, (most likely at the back), unscrew the 3 screws, (socket size 5.5mm) and then pull the whole unit straight down. Anything inside the fan can then be easily removed. Hope this helps.
