2001 Pontiac Sunfire side mirror replacement

I need to replace the drivers side mirror. 4 door sedan. Mirror appears to be mounted above the door right into window. Before I order and attempt repairs, do you know if I would have to remove interior door panel? Mirror is manual remote.

I have a 2 door and mine does not require panal removal. There is a screw that holds a trim piece on that will expose the retaining screw. Not sure of the 4 door.
