hi i was just wondering why my service light is on in my car,please tell the option i have to fix

there are hundreds of hundreds of possibilitys why the light is on. the only way to narrow that down to a few possibilities is take teh vehicle in and have it scanned for codes. autozone will do that for free! post teh codes back to me in P**** format and ill tlel you what to do.
