Well I was able to get the spark plugs changed. They seemed like they needed it too. Nothing was fouled but you could see wear on them.
Also, the plug wires were shot too so I replaced them as well.
I gave it a new air filter too while I was at it.
However, the fuel filter was back underneath the car by the fuel tank. So I decided to take it into a shop and had the oil changed and while there had them replace the $12 fuel filter I had bought.
She now seems to run like a champ so it must have been one of those three elements.
However, I was charged $30.00 labor to change the fuel filter. Does that seem right?
The guy doing the work moved about as quickly as a sloth as I watched him the whole time. Seems he spent most of his time with the oil change. The oil change and the fuel filter took about an hour.
I'm glad it is running better but think I got took on that labor charge for the fuel filter
