Noises problem
1997 Pontiac Sunfire 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
When I put the car in gear (forward or reverse) I occasionally get a lound clunk sound in the front right wheel area. I have changed the strut/spring and it still has the noise. I thought it could be the cv joint, but when they go bad, don't they make a clicking sound, especially when turning? I do not have any clicking sound from the cv joint. Any ideas?

Outer cv joints will click and inners will clunk! Or bad engine or tranny mounts will also cause it...
