Thank you for reading this, I love your site and have solved many problems using it. Now here's my question: If I were to make a "homeade" cold air intake (I have educated myself about their use and proper installation) and my question involves materials. I just recently learned that exaust tubing is somehow "shielded" from heat. Meaning that it is designed to keep heat in the pipe until expelled, to make the exaust pipes cooler on the outside. Would not the opposite be true then? If I were to use exaust tubing to make the piping of a cold air intake, would it not keep the air inside the tube cooler and shield it from heat because of the properties of exaust tubing? It has all the right pieces for routing the pipe like straight pieces and curves? I am just thinking of keeping the air inside as cold as possible and this seemed logical.
