1997 Pontiac Sunfire 2.2 timing chain

I have a manual transmission 97 sunfire with 2.2L engine. I assume the timing chain and related parts are the same on your vehicle. If so, the answer is "yes you can." I just got done with that repair on my car. I bought a Chilton repair manual, and it was sufficient to guide me through the repair. I recommend getting some help from a friend, as we found we needed more than two hands at times. Good luck!
