Transmission problem
1996 Pontiac Sunfire 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 300k miles
how do you take the transmission mount off the tranny, driver side, just behind the drivers side tire. i took the 4 bolts out and got the engine lowered enough to get it off but i got stumped on how to take the mount off. its like there is a sleeve with a hex bolt or something in the center (10mm). i tried to loosen it but did not budge. do i need a puller or is there a way to squeeze the sleeve to pull the mount off?
