Engine Cooling problem
1996 Pontiac Sunfire 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I bought a used 1996 sunfire, and put in a lot of work to it. I liked the car, and the way it was on gas. After getting everything fixed, I had no problem with the car. I went into a routine oil change with the dealer and the mechanic said I needed my radiator flushed. My radiator was fine before hand and didn't have a single leak. So I agreed thinking it was good for my car. However after they flushed the radiator, I started leaking like crazy. Every 4 days of driving I have to put more fluid in the radiator. I tried the stop leak and that didn't work. I'm at a lost for words. I don't know what it could be, or how a perfectly good radiator system can go from no leaking to leaking like a siv. Please help!

Hi there,

I feel that they may have over pressurized the system, you do a pressure test to check for leaks, but if to much pressure is applied you can case leaks, I would ask them to inspect and report if it is repairable, then you may like to raise this concern with them.
