1996 Pontiac Sunfire 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

my gas gauge is stuck, how do i resolve this for my daughter who drives to school with it.

try disconnecting battery and reconnect 10 minutes later. if this does not fix it than fuel sending unit in fuel tank most likely faulty.
