Radiator clogged should I replace it?

Due to a lack of coolant maintenance on my part, I was told my radiator was clogged. I was told it had to be replaced because clogs can not be cleaned out because they are calcium buildups and caustic chemicals like they used in the old days can not be used on radiators. Can you help me replace it?

Hello,

If your radiator is severely clogged then replacement is the best option.
Changing the radiator on your vehicle can be done using simple hand tools. It will require you to remove the radiator hoses as well as transmission cooler lines. You will also need to take our the radiator fan and transfer it to the new radiator.
