1994 Pontiac Sunbird my car rumbles

Engine Mechanical problem
1994 Pontiac Sunbird 4 cyl Manual 150000 miles

so i have a 94 pontiac sunbird,i drove it to work one day and it started vibrating,like the whole car did and i couldnt go over 40 without the car making a knocking noise.after work i thought it may been out of oil,no.i put new oil in,new spark plugs,new spark plug wires,and a new o2 censor.It vibrates a little less,but we tried a test drive and it died.its acting like its not getting enough gas,like no matter how hard i press the pedal it moves like an inch and then dies.any ideas on whats wrong with it? thanks
