My car needed to get a boost today because i left the door open just a bit to keep the dome light on. I went to school and a buddy came to boost my car, but crossed the wires at first so the car jumper cables melted... so when i got home i bought a new set of cables and got my brother to boost it, but now the emergency break/break light is always on. The breaks are fine and are not spongy there is also no fluid leak. The heater and ABS fuse is fine. What could have happend?

DOUBLE CHECK THAT YOUR EMERGENCY BRAKE IS NOT SLIGHTLY APPLIED AND CHECK LEVEL OF BRAKE FLUID.

Double checked emergency break and break fluid. Is there a chance something got fried in the boost?
