1993 Pontiac Sunbird Car dies on acceleration

Car starts ok and will keep running if left alone but when accelerator is pressed car dies. I found that when I accelerate very slowly it will not die but if I do it normaly dies immediatly. Have changes fuel filter, spark plugs and air filter please help. Thank you
