1993 Pontiac Sunbird blinking lights

I replaced the fuses and flasher, since my turn blinking lights were not working. the new fuses are getting burned. Can you tell me why? How can I fix this problem so that my turning signal works again.

This is a tough one because there is a short, but to locate it is the difficult part. Does it blow after you turn the signals on or as soon as you replace the fuse?
