1992 Pontiac Sunbird Gas Mileage

My Sunbird just recently has very poor gas mileage, we're talking 10 miles to the gallon here! What possibly could be the reason for such poor gas mileage?

You need to do a tune up and then re-assess the situation. Plugs, wires, fuel filter, intake clean, check the air filter, PCV valve should all be done/changed and make sure you are getting good gas. It doesn't make that big of a difference, but if you are getting gas with 10% ethanol in it you will see a noticable drop in MPG. After or during all of that check the systems, fuel, spark, air, timing for any problems
