The fan motor died. How do I install a new one in my 2004 Vibe?

Before you put a new one in, disconnect the fan connector and connect the fan motor directly to battery, if fan runs, then the fan motor is OK and the problem may be fuse/relay/fan switch.

The fan is bolted to radiator, although the upper hose may have to be disconnected for clearance, but once unbolted, it lifts straight up.
