Recently my vehicle started giving me problems; it started while driving home from work doing 70+ MPH I could feel it jerking like it running out of gas, but if I accelerated a bit it would stop. So, I kept my foot in it until the next gas station. I pulled in shut engine off then put gas in then just cranking and cranking no start. It sat for 20 minutes then it started up and drove it home another fifteen miles with it cutting out. Now after it's been here it will start and run until warm, then stalls and shuts off completely and will not start at all, until engine cools down then it will re start.

There are a number of things that can cause this, so we need to start with checking what we don't have when this is stalling and not restarting.

What I would do is let the engine cool off and hook up a fuel pressure gauge.

Then monitor the fuel pressure while it runs and then when it stalls.

Then if the fuel pressure doesn't drop prior to stalling then when it is not restarting, we need to check for spark.

Once we know what these two systems are doing, we will have a better idea of which way to turn.

Please run through these guides and let us know what you find. Thanks
