2007 Pontiac Montana Knocking from the tires

Hi, I recently bought a 07 Montana When I am driving at a speed of 40km/hr and higher I hear a knocking sound probably from the front left tire, I can feel it on the steering wheel also.I showed it to a mechanic and he says I need all new tires but the tread on the tires is still very good.

What kind of tires are on it? I had to eplace my tires on my 06 They were Continel. New tires fixed it.
