The ABS brakes on my van will make a pulsing noise and then the ABS light comes on in the dash. I dont loose and braking power when this is happening. Can some one please tell me what is wrong with the van. It doesnt do this all the time.

Your best bet would be to have the ABS system scanned for codes.It may be a wheel sensor shorting or something more complex, but if the light has been on it should have a code.Get back to me with what they find

Should I try to get the code when the light is on or will it show if its not on ?

It should have stored a code, but if you could get it done while the light is on, it may be better
