1999 Pontiac Montana 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i need info on "positive" and "negative" terminals plug sockets on pump itself. i need to test my unit to confirm its condition.
any advice regarding this topic would grreatly be appreciated.

At the fuel pump connector power the gray wire from the battery positive post and black wire to negative.
