Yes I have a 99 pontiac grand prix with about 75000 miles on it and it is a v6 believe. My question is when you turn on the windshield wipers the go up together but on the way down on only goes half way down and th other goes all the way down and when it starts to come back up they both do except the one that only goes half way down shoots over and lays on mirror.

Good chance the post where the wiper arm is nutted down is loose or stripped. May have a wiper transmission problem. Pry off the cap over the wiper arm pivot point and check the nut for looseness.

That is kind of funny. I have a 93 Grand Am and it does the same thing. A friend of mine had riged it with a rope and it hasnt done it again yet! Good luck At least I know now what the problem could be drom reading the responses from your question.

Get it taken care of before it strips the friction grooves and you need new arm. Or a new rope :lol:
