2000 Pontiac Grand Prix windshield wipers

Wipers stop in middle of windshield work ok otherwise willnot stop at bottom of windshield at rest position please help

Start by removing protective cap at base of wiper arm and check that nuts are tight. These connect wiper arm to wiper transmission and can work loose causing eratic wiper movement.
