Fan/blower motor

My 2000 pontiac grand prix (3.1) fan has a 1-5 setting. It only works on # 3. One and 2 don't blow any air? Could the motor be partially fried? I'm either freezing or hot! How do I replace it if that's the problem?

Sounds like a bad blower motor resister to me. It is located just in front of the blower motor. It ha the wires coming out of it that go to the blower motor.

Remove the kick panel under the glove box and you will see it.
