98 pontiac grand prix heater fans relay problems

my high temp fan would not shut off. i pulled the fuse and it quit running. now something with the fans or heating system keeps drainging the battery. Think maybe it is a bad relay????? but don't know which and where is the right relay to test or if I am looking at the problem.

The fan relays are in the underhood fuse block. In the picture, #1 should be the fuse box. Hopefully the lid on the fuse box should tell you which relay is which. If not, then check your owners manual.

I realize this is an old post. In the future, hope you don't have any vehicle issues, but, if you do, keep the site in mind. They are always working to improve the site and it's free to ask a question.
