2008 Pontiac Grand Prix

Hi - is there a way to disable the doors on my Grand Prix from automatically locking? It looks like they automatically lock once I have driven over ~10mph. I like the security, but it's a pain to have to lock/unlock the doors once I have parked and need to get something out of the back seat, etc. Thanks. Kyle

I have a 2000 model GP so it is different mechanically, but this was something I was able to change. My options were not at all, when shifting out of park, when a certain speed is reached, etc. I found it in the owners manual. It is something designed so you have the option of changing it yourself. There were also other different things I had a choice of options. My exact method of doing this is probably different than yours, but I had to pull out a designated fuse so the computer would go into options mode. Your owner manual will tell you how to do and what things you have options for.
