2007 Pontiac Grand Prix Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i need to replace my passenger side tie rod because it is bent, I have popped the ball joint and removed the plastic boot, but I can't seem to pull the tie rod out

The tie rod end, screws onto the steering arm, back off the lock nut and count the turns the old tie rod unscrews, re fit the new end the same number of turns, nip up the lock nut, and re it the ball end with a new split pin. get an alignment end done.
