Can you tell if the sound is from the engine area or the underside of the vehicle? Does the sound chances with engine speed or car speed? Does it change when turning, stopping... Has the check engine light or any other light come on?

Let me know.

There has been no lights to come on however, today I got in the car and it was humming when i began to press the gas pedal. It stopped after a short while. I don't hear it anymore but, I assume that this is a indication that something is going to happen If I done resolve this in a timely matter.

What I would try is this. Remove the serp belt and start the car (only for a few seconds because it will overheat). I want you to try this to determine if the noise is coming from one of the belt driven accessories.

Let me know what you find. Please, only run the engine like this for a few secounds.
