I had the Oil Pressure Switch replaced about a year ago due to oil leaking from it, now little over a year later I have the same leak on my driveway. Is there a known issue with this part or vehicle that this will need to be replaced frequently?

Any part can fail. It really depends on what brand the part was. If you bought it yourself at one of the discount parts stores, then you can bet it's a Chinese made piece of junk. If you bought a Delco OEM, it should have lasted longer but anything can fail.
I'm not sure you have even confirmed that the same part is leaking yet. It could just as easily be something else like an oil filter. Get it checked before jumping to any conclusions.

Thanks for the advice I will have it looked at, just seemed weird that the leak is in the exact same spot on the driveway as previous and I wanted to make sure it wasn't a known issue.
