2005 Pontiac Grand Prix Grand Prix makes a humming noise

2005 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl Automatic

The car makes a humming noise and it only happens when I make a left. It gets louder if making a sharp left turn. Never happens when making right but it goes away after running the car a few minutes, then it comes back at a left turn. And it hesitates to accelerate when making left turn if compared with making a right.

Jack the car up, put on stands. Grasp each wheel and see if there is any movement, either horizontal or vertical. If there is, it is a wheel bearing, ball joint, tie rod end or nount.
This sounds like a wheel bearing.
