my abs and traction control lights have just come on but after i shut the car off and turn it back on they turn off and then riding down the road they will turn back on what are some reasons for this

There is a problem with the ABS/Traction control system.

The only way to isoate problem is to have car scanned with an ABS scanner.

Autoparts stores can only scan "P" Powertrain codes. ABS/Traction control will set a "C" Chassis code.

Could be as simple as a loose ABS wheel sensor.
