About two weeks ago my cd player (factory) just stopped working. One of my cd's just got stuck inside the player and and i couldn't get it to eject the cd out. I'm just trying to figure out how much this is going to cost me. i'm willing to pay for it as long as the cost is reasonable. I bought the car used (with an extended warrenty) and it has been a great vehicle so far. the radio still works but as far as listening to cd's: it's been out of the question. any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. :-) again i don't mind paying as long as the cost is reasonable. :-) In these times a cd player (though its standard in cars) its still a luxury. :-) thanks for your time

sincerely

Check fuses, although if radio is working, it is probably not a fuse, but doesn't hurt.

Two choices, go to junk yard and get a used one from same car, it would be a lot cheaper than a new one from GM.

Second, replace unit with aftermarket unit, which you can usually get installed free.

If you like the factory unit and want the exact same thing, you're going to pay top dollar at the dealer for a new unit. Like mmprince4000 siad, check a junk yard or take a look on e-bay. A lot of people sell their old radios once the upgrade to an aftermarket unit.
