I have a 2004 pontiac grand prix with 40,000 miles. The emmission light came on and is staying on solid. I read the owners manual and removed the gas gap a couple of time. Also ran a couple tanks of fuel through the car but it will still not go off. The car is running good, and the fuel economy is the same as before the light came on. Any Idea's

Thanks

this vehicle needs to be scan tested to retrieve the code(s) for the vehicles computer. this will help pin point the problem. this needs to be done first.

Atuzone has a free reader to decode the ECU signal. If its nothing important they can reset it also.

Hope it helps
