2003 Pontiac Grand Prix Knocking noise

There is a knocking noise when I push the accelerator. It gets louder as I accelerate more. It acts like it wants to die when idling and loses power when going up a hill.

Either rod or main bearing. Measure oil pressure with mechanical gauge. Next change oil and look for metal particles in oil with a magnet.
