2003 Pontiac Grand Prix CAR HAS NO POWER

When I get on the gas I lose power and the rpms go to for grand the speed picks up slow and the transmission does not kick down it acts almost like the engine is going to blow

I would have a backpressure test performed on the convertor, sounds like the convertor is clogged or partially clogged. This would be a good starting point.

Are you getting any error codes?
