This morning I noticed the ABS light was on and after making a stop it stayed off. Awhile later I made another run and ABS light back on so when I got home I looked for leaks found none so I disconnected the battery for about 2 minutes and hooked back up and now ABS and traction control light on. Is it a module that needs to be replaced? I also checked the ABS connections to make sure they were OK.

Hi:
The two systems work with each other. If a sensor goes bad at one of the wheels, the traction control won't work porperly, so that is most likely why both lights are on at this point. What I need you to do is take the car to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer for codes. Most parts stores will do it for free, so there is no money out of pocket. The scan should identify which sensor is causing the problem.

Let me know what you find.

When my lights both came on it was my wheel hub that needed replaced. As soon as I changed them my lights went off and they never came back on. I was told it was the spinner that went bad.
