my car had a new cat. Convert put in and the auto scanner keep reading p0741 and p0420

I dont remember off the top of my head what those codes are, but I have seen that in some cases when a new aftermarket cat has been installed that can cause problems with other sensors. Try a new GM converter and clear codes. This could be your problem.
