I have a 2002 which had AC until late last year. A mechanic said there was a small leak in the condersor coil. I have seen kits in the store for use on the AC system. There is a can for sealing leaks. One for adding AC oil and of course, 134 Freon. Do these work? I am looking for a short term fix until I can get a new condersor put in during the off season. Will the repair fluids "gum up" the system or will the system be OK afterwards? The repair system refers to the low pressure side for charging. How do I identify the low pressure side?

The sealers are generally designed to fix small O ring leaks in system and to some extent do work. You can try it, won't hurt anything.

When they replace condensor, they will flush system, recover old refigerant, and repair.

The low side and high side have two different connections. The 134A and hose will only fit the low side, the high side is a larger size.
