Heater problem
2002 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi, my blower fan went out and I had it replaced. It was working fine. About two weeks later the fan only worked on high and the solenoid went out and I had that replaced. Well the solenoid lasted about a week and now my blower fan is only working on high again. What is causing this to go bad again? Should my mechanic be responsible for the 2nd repair on this?

The blower resister is the component that causes the blower speeds to disappear. When it happens more than once in short succession, it's usually do to excessive current draw by the blower motor overloading the resister, I know you said you changed it but it sounds like a bad motor causing it.
