2001 Pontiac Grand Prix 90,000 miles

After this past snow storm, I turned on the windshield wipers, to clear the snow off of the windshield, and my wipers were froze down, and one of my blades broke. I have replaced both blades, but now the drivers side wiper is slower than the passenger side. The passenger side wiper runs into the drivers side wiper, and they get caught. What can I do to fix this? (and I know I should have freed the blades right to begin with)
