Intermittent fast idle, sometimes up to 2500 rpm. No relation to air or engine temp, except it happened very little during winter. Now it happens several times a day. Some times it happens from the time I start the engine, other times it starts happening while driving. If I restart the car some times it will be ok. Tune up done recent, no effect.

hi , thankyou for donating, the way you are describing it, it sounds like either your throttle position sensor(tps) is going bad or you may have a vacuum leak or two, possibly a crack in one of your vacuum hoses, do you have a check engine light on yet?
