2001 Pontiac Grand Prix Electrical problem

[b]My computer information center doesn't turn on right away, especially at night. If it doesn't turn on the lights don't automatically turn on, the AC, Fan, Rear Defroster pushbutton don't work. When it turns on I here a relay on the left side of the dash area. The computer information center turns on and everthing is okay. Again, it seems to turn on and off more at night than in the day.

Sounds most like something is grounding out your power, but for that exact car I don't have a diagram. The relay is supposed to turn on when you turn the key. So. If the clocks and all that are ok then its still hooked up to the battery and the switch connection is bad or visa versa. Either way a wiring diagram would really help you know which connections to check. Also I had this problem on a 97, in which the ignition was cutting out the accessory signal so see if wiggling it helps turn it on. Hope this helped. :Cry: anything electronic sucks
