2001 Pontiac Grand Prix blue smoke

ok well the problem im having with my car is it started making blue smoke but it only blows blue smoke at take off then it goes away it burns oil like crazy i have to add quarts sometimes the car is a gtp that is bord and stroked it has a cam and diamond pistons so its not stock my car performs good just lets blue smoke come out of my tail pipes could this be a piston ring

Blue smoke is equal to oil being burn in the combustion chamber-sounds more like valve guides/ stems/seals
