When I accelerate slowly it is fine, but when I accelerate fast it sputters? When I floor it, it spudders for a sec then kicks in. On the highway, if I stay at a constant speed it is fine, if it kicks into passing gear it spudders for a sec, then kicks in......

Pull out the spark plugs and check the gap on them. Make sure they are in spec. Check your spark plug wires resistance. If you find any defects in the plugs and/or wires be sure to replace with A/C Delco brand ONLY!! Always use A/C Delco ignition parts on GM cars
