Honestly I could pick alot of things it could be, the shop should have a good computer and will be able to see the failure whether the light is on or not, a good shop will take the time and go though misfires and watch all ecm related sensors and go further if needed, believe me , the 70-80 bucks you will spend checking it will be well worth it, I just want to lead you in the right direction and throwing parts in it isnt the answer hope this helps
