I have a 2000 grand prix se with about 120000 on it. Took battery out and ever sense then the fuel pump dosnt work at all. Changed harness checked all wires changed relays fuses everything possible that I know of. Tried the diagnostics machine couldnt read the vehicle or identify it. Ive been told there is a theft system built into the computer and I could have triggered that? I have checked everything stupid I could be im dumbfounded now.

Try this:

So the engine cranks but it wont start? IS the security light flashing? If so try this
GM PASS LOCK RELEARN- Ignition to "run" position, try to start and let key return to "run" position
Approx ten minutes security light will go off
Turn key "off" and wait 5 seconds
Repeat 2 more times for a total of 3 relearns.
Turn key off, then start it.

Chech fuel pump fuse and relay. A dealer or trusted garage should be able to power the FP independant of fuses and relays, this will tell you if FP is bad.
