2000 Pontiac Grand Prix heater &AC blower

Blower only woks on high speed for heater and ac, is problem in blower or rorary switch on dash? Also trouble code is saying engine has problem with cam positioning sensor, where would this sensor be located on a 3.1 v6. Thanks

It is most likely the resistor located behind the blower. I have the same problem and after much research this seems to be the answer. I changed mine but it did'nt solve the problem. If you try to change it good luck it is hard to get to and 2 of the bolts are impossible to get to just take the one out that you can get to and than snatch it out. Good luck my back still hurts!
