Noises problem
2000 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 2000 grand prix and i have a noise that i cant figue out i thought it was my tension pulley so i replaced it at $200 but thenoise is still there i think it is coming from the engine it has been going on for a total of 2 months what could this be.

can you be a little more specific with the noise? what it sounds like, when it happens.
