2000 Pontiac Grand Prix cooling fans stay on when they shou

start the car in the am, cooling fans will be on, drive car 20 minutes and listen, sometimes they will be on even when the coolant temp has not reached high enough to turn them on. then sometimes fans will be off, have already tried 2 coolant temp sensors and a thermostat. coolant is full and clean
